Vote “No” on Assembly Bill 2943

Bill Implications ///

AB2943 makes it illegal to charge for counseling services, sell books, or offer any help to people in California to overcome unwanted same-sex attraction or gender identity confusion that involves any financial transaction. There are no exceptions.

Bill Status ///

Sadly, AB2943 passed (8-1-1) the Assembly Judiciary Committee on this past Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Once again, our side had excellent representation, including a former lesbian and a former homosexual, both with an excellent testimony for Christ.

Unfortunately, their testimony fell on mostly deaf ears. Republican Brian Maienschein continued his record of voting with the Democrats. Republican Kevin Kiley was the lone vote against the bill, and Republican Jordan Cunningham did not vote.

The next step is a vote by the full Assembly as soon as Monday or Tuesday of this coming week.

Please, contact your Assembly Member and ask them to vote NO on AB2943.

Pray.

Also, get your church and others to pray.

Call your Assembly Member.

Ask them to vote “No” on AB2943 when it comes to the floor as early as this coming week. Have others that you know call their Assembly Member’s office as well.
